A rare heather selvedge from Japan dyed to a most unusual olive casted putty. This is the Heather Putty Selvedge.
Having used literally hundreds of selvedge denim styles, we're always excited when something fresh arrives in the mail. In this case, it was a new style from Japan. It combines classic raw denim roots with a completely new color. The base is old-school raw denim. A 12 ounce weight makes it wearable on day one. Starch reminds you of the rugged nature of the style. A big white ID is a nice touch. Color is what makes the denim stand apart. A heather putty grey is infused with a subtle olive cast. Nice slubby grain helps bring out the white weft contrast. It's just a great, fresh take on authentic selvedge denim.
